Listen to music by Montreal-based Kara-Lis Coverdale and her “Ewi” – the electric wind instrument from her 2015 record, Aftertouches. Her “world-building work occupies new planes built upon a borderless understanding of electronic music rooted in the interlocking pathways of musical systems and languages,” as the ensemble Contemporaneous writes on their Instagram.
