Rob Swift

Soundcheck | May 3, 2010

The latest album from DJ Rob Swift, The Architect, sounds like a symphony orchestra conducted by Grandmaster Flash.

Raised in Jackson Heights, Queens, Swift has tested the limits of turntables and vinyl records since the age of 12. Now, he's blurring boundaries in two stalwart music genres: hip-hop and classical. He joins us to perform for our live audience in WNYC's Greene Space.
