To be an old school label in 2007 is to be out of business. Between today, and Wednesday, we will run three segments looking at the past, present and future of record labels. On today’s show: how labels, like Six Degrees Records, are reinventing themselves in order to survive. Also: Keyboardist and composer Jason Lindner fuses African, Latin-American and Middle Eastern music. He and his trio perform live in our studio.
