Resuscitating old works and composers, the Eos Orchestra, led by artistic director and conductor Jonathan Sheffer, is currently preparing for Mass en Masse. Sheffer is combining masses by Stravinsky and Mozart with a new one by composer-in-residence Sebastian Currier. Also visiting, composer Sylvain Leroux and choreographer Chuck Davis of DanceAfrica BAM 2003. Fusing together dance, music, film and culture, DanceAfrica focuses, this season, on Haiti, the first free black republic of the world.
