Siren Songs

Soundcheck | May 3, 2010
Primarily known as a cabaret singer, Ute Lemper has conquered many different genres of music. She has performed with top orchestra around the world, in smaller cabaret settings and even on the musical theater stage. Always expanding her repertoire, she now is writing songs and has released some of them on her newest recording. Today, she stops by the studio for a live performance. Also on the program, we hear from flutist Paula Robison, who was a founding member of the Chamber Society of Lincoln Center as well as a passionate interpreter of Brazilian and Samba music.
