The Ides of March Sisters

Soundcheck | May 3, 2010
At the young age of 26, Russian pianist Konstantin Lifschitz has already accomplished many things that older musicians dream of. As a child prodigy he performed in Russia's most storied concert hall and is considered one of the finest pianists in his country. Adding one more charm to his bracelet, he will be making his debut with the New York Philharmonic this weekend. Today on Soundcheck, he will tell us all about it. Also, composer Mark Adamo will stop by to discuss transforming Louise May Alcott's Little Women (pictured) into one of this season's most anticipated operatic events.
