Vince Giordano and the Nighthawks regularly tackle jazz warhorses by Duke Ellington, as well as less-familiar works from the Roaring 20s. Giordano stops by to discuss his repertoire and his ensemble’s concert at Midsummer Night Swing. Also, performances from the Vega String Quartet, who offer a glimpse of their upcoming all-Schubert performances at Trinity Church in August, and Mannes College’s Beethoven Institute.
