A New Song From Blondie

Soundcheck | Mar 19, 2013

Debbie Harry and Chris Stein of the band Blondie stop by the studio to share the brand new song, “Make a Way.” It’ll appear on a forthcoming album that will bear the punk icons' flair for eclectic sounds. (Stein tells Soundcheck that he's been "bugging out over modern Latin music," and the Colombian artist Systema Solar is set to appear on the record.)

Plus: hear the Rock and Roll Hall of Famers react to a jazz cover of their 1978 hit “Heart of Glass.”

The pair will join music writer Will Hermes for a discussion at the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts on Wednesday, March 27th at 6pm. More on the talk, and the series, called Rhapsodic City: Music of New York, here.
