Michelle Hart's debut novel tells the story of a Mallory, a freshman in college who becomes entangled in an affair with an older woman, a professor at the university. Years later, Mallory is forced to finally face what this relationship has meant to her, and whether it was ever healthy in the first place. Hart joins us to discuss the novel, titled We Do What We Do In the Dark, as part our series spotlighting debut authors, 2022 Debuts.
