A New York Moment: Adam Hurwitz

Our new photography series, A New York Moment, explores New York scenes as captured by NYC photographers.  That means you.  

There are twelve blocks of Seventh Avenue between Adam Hurwitz's office and his apartment. He's been documenting those blocks on his Flickr page since May 2008.  He says he "shoots from the hip" so that his subjects don't know they are being photographed, and he can indulge his fascination with the way New Yorkers relate to each other and the city environment. We met up with him at the corner of 28th and 7th.
