Mad TV Predicted the iPad!

Features | Jan 27, 2010

Apple Chief Executive Steve Jobs unveiled the long-rumored iPad today in San Francisco. It's been the worst-kept secret in Geekdom for quite some time now.

But, Mad TV actually had a leg up on the computer tablet. Back in a 2007 skit, a woman asks a co-worker to borrow a maxi pad. The viewers soon learn about the "new iPad." For instance, you can "just hook up [the] Apple to [your] peach." The period jokes go on from there.

Still no word on whether Apple asked Mad TV if it could borrow a pad or if they consulted a female of child-bearing age on names. We're guessing not.
