The Music Never Stopped

Soundcheck | Mar 16, 2011

Based on an essay by neurologist and bestselling author Dr. Oliver Sacks, The Music Never Stopped is a new film about a young man whose treatment for a brain tumor leaves him unable to create new memories. The only stimulus that he responds to: the Grateful Dead, The Beatles and other music from his youth. The film’s director, Jim Kohlberg, joins us in studio to discuss the project. Plus: Grateful Dead drummer, Mickey Hart, explains how he got involved too.

The Music Never Stopped opens in New York on Friday, March 18th.
