Assembly of Dust
"All That I Am Now" (feat. Richie Havens)
Playing tonight at: Bowery Ballroom (6 Delancey St., L.E.S.)
Info: Tickets ($16) | Directions

The roots-rocking Assembly of Dust recruited a slew of classic Americana musicians to collaborate on frontman Reid Genauer’s vision for the band’s second full-length album Some Assembly Required.

Genauer assembled a lauded lineup, including Phish’s Mike Gordon, Bela Fleck, Jerry Douglas, Martin Sexton and Tony Rice. The track “All That I Am Now,” features folk singer Richie Havens on vocals, draws lyrical inspiration from the Shel Silverstein children’s book “The Giving Tree” and delivers a rollicking sound that is part The Band and part Wilco.
