(New York, NY – August 8, 2017) WERK IT, the all-women’s podcast festival founded by WNYC Studios, today announced its lineup of public podcast performances – three nights of comedy, entertainment and conversation hosted by some of the most beloved and buzzed-about women podcasters.

The roster features bold personalities and dynamic entertainers: Jessica Williams and Naomi Ekperigin will co-host the always-hilarious 2 Dope Queens (WNYC Studios); Amber Rose will join the influential women of BuzzFeed’s Another Round, Tracy Clayton and Heben Nigatu; and actress Niecy Nash will sit down for a one-on-one conversation with Anna Sale of Death, Sex & Money (WNYC Studios).

Following two years in New York City, this year’s WERK IT festival will take place in Los Angeles on October 3-5 at The Theatre at Ace Hotel.

Created and curated by WNYC Studios, the critically-acclaimed producer of top podcasts including 2 Dope Queens, Radiolab, Freakonomics Radio, and A Piece of Work with Abbi Jacobson, WERK IT is committed to elevating women’s voices in podcasting on both sides of the mic with workshops, panels, mentorship, and networking opportunities. Conference sessions and workshops will be led by women executives, producers, and hosts from major podcast companies, including WNYC Studios, Gimlet, Pineapple Street Media, BuzzFeed, NPR, VOX, and This American Life.

WERK IT 2017 is funded in part by a leadership grant from the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, with additional support from The Annenberg Foundation with its headquarters in LA.

Tickets for the public evening performances will go on sale on Friday, August 11 at 9am PST/12pm EST at www.werkitfestival.com. The performance schedule is as follows:
