Peter Coyote

Peter Coyote began his work in street theater and political organizing in San Francisco, acted in over 140 films and won an Emmy for narrating the documentary “Pacific Century.”

The activist/actor discussed the experiences and mentors that informed his career and Zen practice. He also told us he's a fan of country music, welding, and his 1952 Dodge Power Wagon!

Leonard Peltier is a celebrated Native American activist and humanitarian imprisoned since the mid-1970s for his involvement with controversial incidents at Wounded Knee and Oglala, South Dakota, including the shooting deaths of two FBI agents. He has has been designated a political prisoner by Amnesty International.
