Mary is an Associate Producer for The Takeaway, the public radio show and podcast hosted by Melissa Harris-Perry. 

Mary is an Associate Producer. Prior to joining WNYC, Mary reported as a freelancer for outlets including Teen Vogue, City Limits and Chalkbeat. She also interned at Coda Story where she helped produce a weekly news podcast. She earned the Sidney Hillman Foundation's Hillman Award for her excellence in covering social justice issues in 2022 and completed her masters' in audio, investigative and urban journalism from the Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism at CUNY in 2021.
