Lizzy Ratner is Deputy Print Editor at The Nation magazine, where she edits articles exploring matters of social and economic justice, as well as climate change, the legal system, and Israel/Palestine. A former reporter, she has written for The Nation, The New York Times, The New York Observer, where she worked as a staff reporter, and other outlets. Before going into journalism, Lizzy worked as a welfare rights advocate in Brooklyn. She was born and raised in New York City.
