Kronos Quartet

Kronos Quartet, one of the most renowned and influential new-music groups of our time, celebrated its 40th anniversary with an exclusive evening of music and conversation in The Greene Space on March 24.

 

The Kronos Quartet has changed the world of chamber music. By championing new works, commissioning composers from Africa and Asia, playing arrangements of rock, jazz, and folk music, and exploring theater, intermedia, and electronics, Kronos has made the string quartet cool. They’ll play live in our studio.
