Jon Roren

Jon Roren interned in the WNYC Archives from September - December 2017 and single-handedly digitized and uploaded a collection of Folkwave episodes from reel-to-reel. He really enjoyed it.

Jon Roren is a budding archivist with a love of radio that goes back to childhood, where he would tape his own "radio shows" using a portable cassette recorder and interviewing himself as different characters.

In addition to having interned at WNYC's Archives, he's been hosting a radio show on 90.1FM WUSB in Stony Brook, NY for about 15 years. You can listen to Radio Free J-Ro on alternate Wednesdays from 2pm-5pm, where it also streams live, at http://wusb.fm/.
