Jesse Thorn is the host and producer of The Sound of Young America and Jordan, Jesse, Go!. He founded The Sound of Young America in 2000, while a student at the University of California at Santa Cruz. In 2007, the show began to be distributed by Public Radio International, making Thorn the youngest national host in public radio history. In addition to his work at MaximumFun.org, he hosts and helps produce Put This On, a video series and blog about men's style. A native of San Francisco's Mission district, he lives in Los Angeles with his wife and dog.
