Cameron Thompkins

Live Events and Digital Content Producer

Cameron (Cam) Thompkins is a multi-media creative with a background in audio, live events, dance, and film. He received his B.A. in Music Composition from Duke University, where he also apprenticed with Duke Performances. From there he took a position with the creative music agency, Finger Music & Sound Design, supervising, composing, and sound designing the audio post for commercial and editorial campaigns.

In addition to his experience in audio post, he has worked FOH for SVA Theatre and held posts at Lincoln Center through Meet-the-Artist and the seasonal exhibit, The Clock by Christian Marclay.

As a general facilitator of mixed-media projects in New York City, he was recently responsible for music programming and production for Neutral Ground, a show exploring Asian-American identity at LPAC.
