In addition to starring on “Hot in Cleveland,” the legendary comedian, movie star, and seven-time Emmy winner is the author of a new book "If You Ask Me (And of Course You Won’t)." White, who overflows with gratitude, reminds us that there's much to be thankful for this Thanksgiving.

This spring, we’ve been sitting down with some of America’s most fascinating elder statesmen and stateswomen: older Americans, long past retirement age, who are nonetheless still working to change how we live and work in this country in a series called “In My Experience.” Today, our guest is comedian, movie star, and seven-time Emmy award winning TV legend Betty White. Her memoir If You Ask Me (and of Course You Won’t) mixes her observations with humorous stories from her seven-decade career in Hollywood, including candid takes on everything from her rumored crush on Robert Redford, to her beauty regimen, to the Facebook campaign that helped persuade her to host “Saturday Night Live.”
