Winter 2018 Hamilton Tickets Giveaway
OFFICIAL RULES
HOW TO ENTER: No purchase or pledge necessary. There will be one drawing with ten winners chosen. Entries may be made by responding to February e-renewals, calling the WNYC pledge line at 888-376-9692 or through the pledge form at WNYC.org at the following times:
- To Enter the Hamilton Ticket Drawing: between the hours of midnight February 17, 2018 and 7:00pm on Thursday, March 1, 2018 Eastern Standard Time;
WNYC, WQXR, and New Jersey Public Radio Monthly Sustainers are automatically entered.
ELIGIBILITY: Anyone 18 years of age or older and in the United States can enter the Winter 2018 Hamilton tickets giveaway except employees of New York Public Radio and its related organizations, their immediate family or persons living in the same household. Void where prohibited by law.
PRIZE:
The eight winners of the drawing will each receive the following:
- A pair of center orchestra seats to Hamilton on Broadway for a date between April 1, 2018, and June 30, 2018.
- Total value: $458 per pair
SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION OF WINNER: Two winning names and three back up names for each drawing will be selected by random drawing no later than March 9, 2018. Winner will be sent notification via telephone or mail no later than March 15, 2018. If any winner is unable to collect their prize or does not respond to the notification within 30 days the unawarded prize will go to the first back-up and subsequent back-ups thereof until prize is awarded. Winners must provide their social security number. The chances of winning are dependent upon the number of entrants. The winners’ names will be kept on file at New York Public Radio and will be available by writing to WNYC Listener Services, 160 Varick Street, New York, NY 10013.
GENERAL: By participating in the Winter 2018 Hamilton tickets giveaway, participants agree to these Official Rules, and that New York Public Radio, its agents and employees will have no liability whatsoever for any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind resulting from their use of the prize or their participation in the giveaway. Prize is nontransferable and cannot be exchanged for cash. There can be no substitutions for a prize. New York Public Radio may use winners’ names for publicity purposes without further compensation. Taxes and expenses as a result of winning this prize are the responsibility of the winners. Winners may receive a 1099 with the above stated value in accordance with applicable law.
RESTRICTIONS: Restrictions may apply. Participant agrees to be bound by these Official Rules, and by all decisions of New York Public Radio with respect to the administration of the giveaway and the choice of winners. One entry per person. Multiple entries and not allowed and will not increase the chances of winning.
