Political satire plays a growing role in calling out hypocrisy, mendacity and venality in the nation's public life and holding the powerful, including the news media, accountable. That’s the topic of the News Literacy Project’s inaugural event, "Satire Summit 2016: Beyond Parody?" The event will take place at the John L. Tishman Auditorium at The New School.
