New York International Children's Film Festival was founded in 1997 to cultivate an appreciation for the arts, encourage active, discerning viewing, and stimulate lively discussion among peers, families, and the film community. This year's festival will take place over four weekends in various theaters throughout Manhattan, with approximately 75 events including film screenings, filmmaker Q&A's, and special events.
