6:30 PM

What’s on your summer bucket list?

Drinking a beer with Brian Lehrer? Taking a selfie with Kathy and Tobin from Nancy? Asking Radiolab’s Jad Abumrad and Molly Webster what they've been most curious about recently? High fiving WNYC newsroom staff Richard Hake and Arun Venugopal for their award-winning reporting? Swapping old New York City stories with The Takeaway's Tanzina Vega? Or maybe you want Gothamist co-founders Jake and Jen to decide if you’re a real New Yorker, once and for all…

Join us at Brooklyn Bowl for New York Public Radio Live, a sprawling performance-party hosted by Michelle Buteau with all your WNYC favorites and some very special musical guests—including Real Estate, Yo La Tengo’s Ira Kaplan and Georgia Hubley performing a DJ set, Red Baraat, and the High and Mighty Brass Band.

We’ll have cocktails, fried chicken, a graffiti wall, and of course tote bags. And the best part—all proceeds support New York City’s favorite source for news, culture, and storytelling—New York Public Radio.

See you there,

Peter Shapiro and Anand Desai, Co-Chairs and NYPR Board Members

This is a 21+ event.
