When it comes to getting the best teachers possible into the system, what are your priorities? Rank the approaches below from 1-5, with 1 being your highest priority.
There should be a more stringent and thorough teacher training program in the colleges. Many student teachers are not engaging students throughout their student teaching courses. You evaluate teachers by observing them and giving them constructive, not destructive criticism. You have to have small classes with up to date technology. The NYC public school system is over loaded with administrators that drain the budget. Give the teachers a real living wage.
