The smell of summer
penetrates deep within me
giving me a fresh breath of air
The amazingly tall trees
and the leaves that have returned
to their beautiful shades of green
makes me feel as if I am the only
girl in the world
because of the signs that summer is here
The sky and its pure blue beauty
makes me dream sweet dreams of happiness
The summer creatures buzzing here and there makes my mind wander endlessly
How loving summer makes me feel
How at ease I am with summer and its
amazing sights
Oh how summer makes me feel like
