Airstrams have been building family's and family memories for over three quarters of a century. They were even the center piece of the Lucy and Ricky movie The Long Long Trailer (1953). The majority of Airstreams ever produced are still in service. They can be found in every National Park, remote mountain stream or lake, movie stars location abode, in rural and urban settings. They serve and long or short term housing for many.

Tony, I couldn't agree more that the Airstream Travel Trailer is truly an American icon. It's an American original in concept, design... and it's manufactured in America!
There is no better way to travel and explore our great country than in an Airstream trailer.
i second the nomination of the airstream which used to cost about $1000/foot, a bargain at any price. now you can buy them completely wired for wi-fi etc. even the 15 footers, so i'm told. when i reach 75 i'm either going to join the peace corps, or if i can afford it, travel the country in a 15 footer, wired.
