unlike 80% of my graduating class (pratt 1999) i still had a job (on friday 2/6). i considered myself lucky and would reply to "how are you?" with, "i'm great - i still have a job" even after taking a 20% pay cut and watching others in the small firm get laid off. now, i'm crunching the networks, 'cuz nothing online looks promising - there are too many people like me - service industry for the elite - scrambling over too few jobs.
