Breakfast sandwich

I am a landscape contractor in central NJ, Each morning I'll stop at the same convenience store/deli for coffee. They have a heated display, with what for years has been filled with dozens of egg and various combinations of cheese meats etc.
As fast as they could be made and wrapped, they were sold. Now the 3 or 4 lonely egg and cheese seem to remain from one day to the next.
