A very humane Veterinarian

Yesterday my vet examined my cat, who was recently diagnosed with cancer, for over a half hour, discussing with me when it's time to send him to "cat heaven", and he did not charge me at all. I thought this was a very uncommon kindness, especially since I hadn't asked for it.
