Comedian Patton Oswalt thinks that he and his circle of high school friends could be parsed into three different categories Zombies, Spaceships, and Wastelands that shaped their paths to adulthood, their careers, and their lives. Patton says he realizes now that he's a Wasteland...but what are you: a Zombie, a Spaceship, or a Wasteland? Take our survey.
Wasteland
I wake up and I see the same unoriginal waste that exists throughout our media. No matter if its in our news or entertainment. We gobble this information up, exhaust it, and then move on. To get through this chaos I always wanted to be the lone wander. I saw something sentimental and romantic with these individuals. Whether it was the characters of Clint Eastwood, Wolverine, or Bill Hicks. In my head these were the heroes that would challenge a world that was corrupt and mediocre.

Spaceship
Like new frontiers which hopefully will not resemble what I left. Independence to float where I desire, if not to my liking I blast off to another lat & long.
Jacko
Wasteland
Menial job, secretly writing in the meantime, do NOT want to leave on that ship!
Erica
Spaceship
I fitted into the then current models for post-war baby boomers and adopted all of the developing stereotypes, though I never took any of it really seriously.
Stew
Spaceship
I want to live on the moon, I read science books for fun, I grew up on Heinlein and Asimov, and everything in my house and car is perfectly organized. If I need an item, I know where it is. Definitely spaceship.
Katie
Wasteland
Ever since I can remember, I've been fascinated by the idea of a post-apocalyptic world. I've even learned a lot of skills that would be necessary to survive the apocalypse, secretly squirrlling away knowledge and information. All the while, I've been living a normal, outgoing, successful life; because I know that my progeny will survive! :)
k
Wasteland
Computer geek who wants to destroy the bad to let the good out to play.
Tom
Zombie
Being an artist, I can relate to this category best.
