I'm loathe to admit it, but I think I'm a spaceship. Boy, that was not a sentence I imagined myself writing today. I wish I were more of a wasteland but I do isolate myself, I do put up the deflector shield when I'm forced to be around anyone but my wife or son. But I wish I wasn't.

the key seems to be understand not what we are ... but when we are which one. Sometimes we eat away at others and society (Zombie) sometimes we help contribute and move the world and others forward (Spaceship) ... sometimes we are hungover and no matter how much we want to pee ... the bed is not a toilet, the hangover just gets harder, and the aspirin won't let us escape the hangover (any of patton's commedy shows .. aka a wasteland)

I think I am a wasteland because I somehow beleive that there is some utopian compound at the end of "the road" where the free thinkers can live together. I can't stand zombies with their surperior attitudes, they're just trying to eat your brain. While I appreciate the dream of the spaceship and their quest for order I think they are just running from the wasteland that they know is reality. Don't they know that they are going to roam the galaxy forever and run out of food and water, then their ship will be a wasteland, just like the one they are leaving.
