Where to head for prime leaf watching in New York

WNYC News | 8 hours ago

New York offers a red, orange and yellow panorama every autumn. And this promises to be a banner year. Meanwhile, the state's tourism industry is promoting ways to enjoy those leaves from every possible angle: from the sky, the Hudson River and rail tours.

Ross Levi is the Executive Director of Tourism for New York State. He joins Weekend Edition host David Furst to help pick out some of the best leaf-watching options this fall. He also suggests checking the state's Fall Foliage Report for the latest on those leaves.
