ANA Contemporary Arab Cinema is bringing "A Sad and Beautiful World" to BAM

The annual film series ANA Contemporary Arab Cinema is back in New York, with screenings at BAM and the Jacob Burns Film Center. Hear a preview of the event from programmer and curator Lina Matta discusses the events. Plus, Lebanese writer and director, Cyril Aris talks about his film “A Sad and Beautiful World,” and what the series means to filmmakers like him. "A Sad and Beautiful World," is showing at BAM on July 23rd.
