A city-backed quantum facility is coming to NYU

Mayor Zohran Mamdani says the city will award almost $30 million to New York University to launch a Quantum Fabrication Facility. The Mamdani administration is touting the deal as the first of its kind. The city's Economic Development President and CEO Anthony Shorris joins All Things Considered to explain what this all means for New Yorkers.
