Brooklyn-based British singer-songwriter Fenne Lily plays songs from her latest album, Win Win, which draws inspiration from a recent breakup and a move to the United States. Lily will be performing at Rough Trade below on Nov. 4, TV Eye on Nov. 6 and The Sultan Room on Nov. 8.

In the 1990s, photographer Gerald Cyrus was an M.F.A. student at the School of Visual Arts, and he began taking pictures in Harlem. A new monograph, Uptown Odyssey, edited by Gioncarlo Valentine, includes a collection of Cyrus's uptown photographs, some published for the first time. Cyrus and Valentine discuss the book, and reflect on Harlem in the 90s.
