Local DSA co-chair talks about success in Tuesday's primary

The Democratic Socialists of America are ascendant in New York City politics. Mayor Mamdani considers the organization his "political home”. And earlier this week two DSA members who Mamdani endorsed won contentious Democratic primaries for Congress.  

Gustavo Gordillo is the co-chair of the local chapter of the Democratic Socialists of America. He joins WNYC's Sean Carlson to talk more about it.
