The NYC Council is tackling AI, including a proposed first-in-the-nation incentive program for AI whistleblowers.

City Council Speaker Julie Menin has recently unveiled a list of legislative proposals that aim to regulate A-I.

There will be a rare Council-wide hearing on October 5th where all 51 councilmembers will consider various A-I bills, including piloting a first-in-the-nation incentive program for A-I whistleblowers.
