The first ever Jamaica Day Parade is coming to Brooklyn this Saturday

The city’s first ever parade dedicated to Jamaica is happening this Saturday morning along Flatbush Avenue in Brooklyn, marking Jamaica’s independence month.  

Bill Tinglin initiated the parade organizing and joins WNYC's Sean Carlson to talk more about the inspiration behind it and what New Yorkers can expect.
