You know it’s summer when you start seeing vendors dragging their coolers around New York City parks and beaches selling nutcrackers on a hot sunny day. Many New Yorkers will recognize the brightly colored ice cold alcoholic drinks with the mystery ingredients, but what’s the story behind them?
