On July 18th and 19th, poets and poetry lovers can visit Governor's Island for a weekend of writing, performance, and collaboration, at the 15th annual New York City Poetry Festival, organized by the Poetry Society of New York. Jackie Braje, managing director of the festival, discusses its origins and mission, and what visitors can see and do there.
