The Barr Brothers at Bowery Ballroom

Oct. 29 | 8 pm | $41.49

The Barr Brothers is a group based in Montreal, and three of their albums have been nominated for the Juno Awards, the Canadian version of the Grammys. But the brothers themselves are American, and the sounds of Appalachian folk music are one of the key elements of their sound. So are the sounds of West African music and American folk-rock. The band is built around Andrew Barr, who plays drums and keyboards, and Brad Barr who sings and plays guitar. They play tonight, on October 29, at Bowery Ballroom.
