How NYC is planning for more frequent storms and flash flooding

Flash flooding, thunderstorms and even tornadoes plagued New York City and other parts of the tri-state area last night…raising questions about how prepared the city is for extreme weather events like these.

The city’s deputy mayor of operations Julia Kerson joins WNYC's Tiffany Hanssen to talk more about the city's preparedness.
