The Royston Club is an indie rock band from Wrexham, the town in Wales that is the subject of the popular TV series Welcome To Wrexham. Despite the sudden rush of tourism, their hometown is still a small town, so The Royston Club are based these days in Liverpool, where they’ve released two albums of hooky, guitar-based rock. Both records appeared in the top 20 on the UK album charts, and now, the band has set its sights on the States. Their live set in our studio is today’s episode of Soundcheck, our twice a week podcast, available wherever you get podcasts or at soundcheck.org
