Gov. Sherrill signs legislation aimed at cracking down on data centers

New Jersey Governor Mikie Sherrill campaigned on getting rising electricity bills under control in the Garden State. This week, she signed a package of legislation tied to energy policy. The suite of bills puts some money back in the pockets of New Jerseyans paying large electricity bills. And, notably, the legislation aims to crack down on large data centers that the governor and others say are responsible for driving up costs.
