- Yes the WNYC is allowing all of these posts to stay online. Next time you feel the urge to speak of iggnorance try a little puncuation and proper spelling before you send a post. I grew up in the sticks but atleast I can type. These people have the right to post as they see fit. Unless these people have violated any laws then the have the legal ability to exercise their constitutional rights such as freedom of speech. Let them be.
- Here we are almost 10 years after we are attacked by terrorist and what are we doing? Burning books, Buildng mosques, spitting hateful slang words. Raping young girls and stabbing taxi drivers in the neck just because of where they come from. Yes I have a part of me that thinks muslims should go back home. What they did was wrong and unjustified but I am a god fearing man. I fear God not muslims. I fear the devil not terrorists & even if I did fear them burning a book or stabbing and innocent person because of what the look like to remember the day we were attacked won't prove anything. I am reminded everyday of the pain and horror. Everyday I look at my wall and see my brothers flag with his tags and picture. How does burning a book justify anything!!! I am reminded everyday I pick up a history book or turn on the tv of this nations past and at the same time I fear for our nations future. It's things like this that makes me ashamed to be an american citizen. Now we claim the war in Iraq is over yet we have a pastor burning what another country sees as a holy book. We didn't like it when they came over here and blew us up and burned our flags. Do you really think it's logical to do the same back. Do unto others. Revenge is not the answer. The bible says to obsolve and accept. How does burming a book help acheive that. And you call yourselves children of god. You people call yourselves a nation. What nation?! A nation of hatred? A nation of anger and war?! They say each year that it's a shame what has happened to our GREAT NATION. They way I see it is that every day our Great Nation is to be ashamed of. Fighting and condeming a person for where their ancestors come from is a sin so I ask that every day, Not just 9/11 or what ever other day is celebrated to remember a war, everyday you pray. Pray for our men and women fighting for what we call freedom. Pray for the children who lay in bed everynight praying themselves that their loved ones make it home soon. Pray for the women and little girls who were raped over the years because of the way they look. Pray for the families who came to this country to escape communism in hopes of acheiving freedom. Pray for those who didn't make it. Pray for your brothers and sisters. Pray for your enemies for it is Gods duty and his duty alone to smite those who oppose him by harming his children. And most of all...Pray for yourself. The one who stands here today with a lighter in one hand and a koran in the other. May god have mercy because you have now with your actions become an enemy to somebody and pray that they have the same mercy on you.
Just pray.

- I honestly don't see how millions of dolloars for a new building and a couple of pools is gonna help me remember. My brother was killed in this whole mess and this nor anything else they build will bring him back. Same thing in OKC in the Federal Bombing. I was there. My best friend at the time was killed right next to me and the memorial they built didn't help either. It's just a waste of tax payers money. How is this gonna help? Now everytime I visit all I'll see is a gigantic waste sitting on top of where my brother was killed. May god have mercy.
- This "UNAMED" suspect aparently needs to be put away for obvious reasons. Hey don't get me wrong, I drive by and see a gourp of good looking girls I'm gonna stare and my imagination will start running amuck but JESUS!!! There has to be an age break. The citizen patrol says young girls so that leads me to believe YOUNG girls. This sick #?*! needs a good #?* kicking. I say through him in a cell with a couple of lifers and let it slip on what he was doing. That might teach him a lesson. If he makes it out. Keep up the good work boys. Citizens like yourself are what every town needs.
- Maybe I should go apply at Hooters then sue them for discrimination. I don't know of any law that says a man can't walk around in a tank top and booty shorts selling hot wings. I know I won't get hired & that's fine by me but I have read the application before when my wife applied. It doesn't say that I can't. So what if B&H has Jewish men working. Yes women should be able to get promotions but look at places like hooters. All women wait staff. All male cooks. Sounds sexist to me. NOT. Seriously people. Some lady gets pissed off because she got passed up for a promotion because there was somebody else who could crunch numbers better than her so now she's pulling the Jew card. That would be like me sueing the medicaid office for not approving my benifits because I'm not black.
- Ok si it's the law. Gov. David Paterson should have paid for the tickest but come on. Who wouldn't take freebies. It's not like he stole them. But what do I know. Hey Gov. Next time just send them to TX. We will be more then happy to take them.
- Here's how I see it and probably 50 other people in any direction. Does it really matter how Mr. Fuller went about this whole thing. Some say they never would have done this to begin with without being pushed but do they make a big fuss about sting ops for pedo's? What's so different about this. Mr Fuller didn't put anyone in harms way accept those who probably would have done it either way. If it wasn't him setting it all up it would have been some terror bent radicalist. I for one support Mr. Fuller. Good job man. Keep it up. People like him is what makes us safe. No matter how they get the bad ones off the street.
- Ya know it's funny people say this new building is ugly and shoudln't be built but what's it gonna hurt. Too fancy looking maybe. Too tall. I don't see the issue really. Take cars for instance. Cars are being rebuilt and revamped constantly. I bet the people who say this new building is ugly drive some foriegn, futuristic gas saver wich is good but come on now. Change is inevidable. It doesn't matter what you think or what I think. Things are gonna change and cities are gonna grow. Just thank God that you get to wake up every morning and not worry about what a building is gonna look like. Life is short. Live it.
- Didn't we go to war opver thuis kind of stuff before. I'm a gun toting red blodded American Tride and true but this whole taxing thing is rediculous. Us hard working americans pay our taxes just so these fat sticky finger politics can afford their jets and expensive bottles of hootch. I believ that every american should pay their taxes but if it infringes on anyones rights then back off. NYC already makes plenty of money yet complains because they don't haver enough to pay their cops or clean their streets. If they used their money wisley then they wouolndt have to worry about if they have enough in the budget.
What do I know though. I'm just a redneck from TX.
