- How sexist that the majority of political leaders listed on this page are women rather than men. Really?
- YOu want corporations to create jobs here?? Take the burden of healthcare off their backs, universal healthcare would make American workers on American soil much more affordable. Tax breaks can't come close to that kind of savings.
- My husband is paying almost $400 a month to ride the LIRR. Nice to know all that money is being stolen. This is where Washington is missing the boat. We don't need reform as much as we need to clean up the corruption. Whether it's union workers and doctors scamming the system or rich people and corporations buying off politicians, it's the corruption that is destroyng our country. Fix that, and I bet there would be enough for the 99%.
- Well that explains why I keep getting suffolk county coastal flood warnings from NYS when there's no storm!
- Talk is cheap, especially for politicians. When actions are taken for the good of American people, corporations and the 1% are actually held accountable, regulations are created and enforced properly, and the middle class is reformed, THEN I'll believe Occupy Wall Street is being taken seriously.
- This used goods things has me frustrated. What kind of used goods is he talking about?? I CAN'T buy many things as used - what about food, paper products, feminine hygeine products, medicine, vitamins, sterile medical equipment, shoes, pet food and meds, seeds for gardening, water filters... need I go on?
- He has 1.8 billion and he was fined only 10 million? Gee, bet that drop in the bucket really hurt...
- With an approval rating as low as 13%, how could Congress not understand how terribly they are failing the American people?? We seem to be suffering the same level of disconnect between Washington and the rest of the country as the ruling class and peasants suffered just before the French Revolution. Perhaps Congress's new slogan should be "Let them eat cake."
- @patti, actually you not vaccinating your child DOES put us all at risk, because vaccinations are not full proof. Why, I don't know, perhaps because viruses mutate. Vaccinations have been successful because up until recently everyone got them so the illnesses they protected us from almost disappeared. So, yes, I still say I do not want your unvaccinated child sitting next to mine everyday in class.
- I have to question how prejudice Perry is agaisnt women that he is insisting that all 12 year old girls get this vaccine. Why shoudn't boys get it too? Then women would be doubly protected. Also, to the caller who thinks its okay to send his unvaccinated child to public school. I do not want your child getting my child sick, so if you don't want to protect your child from illness, fine, but yes, he/she should NOT be allowed in school. The rest of us should not pay the price for your decision.
