Infamous Internet Troll "Weev" Goes to Jail

Infamous internet troll Andrew “weev” Auernheimer was sentenced to three and a half years in prison this week. He was prosecuted under the controversial Computer Fraud and Abuse Act, which critics call too stringent and punitive. Internet Troll Weev Sentenced to 41 Months in Prison

Internet troll and hacker Andrew Auernheimer — better known by his web moniker Weev — was sentenced to 41 months in federal prison Monday for gaining access to AT&T's servers and stealing more than 100,000 email addresses of iPad users.
